This small restaurant in Akaroa, a quaint one-time whaling village and french settlement on Banks Peninsula on the east coast of the South Island of New Zealand, is renouned for the quality of its fare. Patrons are welcome to add their comments fo the entrance. The turquoise blue jug makes a strong statement against the chalky pale blue walls. Unfortunately we found the establishment closed for the weekend we were there.
