Moonlight Marina Poster
This watercolour was painted in 1993 soon after I returned from a month in Italy and France on a guided painting holiday with well known watercolourist and art tutor Robert Wade. This painting was painted at the Mooloolaba Marina in Plein Air style and using the techniques learned on that memorable holiday with Bob and an unforgettable group some of whom were far better artists than I. Though painted in the afternoon when I worked on it further later I felt it had more of a moonlight atmosphere hence the name. This version is presented in POSTER format and may not need a mat or even a frame. You could have it sent as a large print only and later have it adhered to a backing board for display preferably with the exposed edge of the board painted black. I have also posted another version for more conventional framed presentation.

Very good sample of technique! It is kind of a magic, because in this work symmetry do not bothering me much. The only explanation is the author's talent. Len Grossman, Screen Name: lengrossman.
