cane train
Where I live, during the Sugar Cane cutting season, the cane trains ran down the main street from the cane farms that fill the valley to the crushing mill. A year or so ago the mill closed and the cane farms are turning to other uses. This started out as a geometrical abstract and then began to suggest the small cane train engines that used to rattle through town holding up traffic and hauling dozens of heavily loaded cane waggons to the mill and then empty again back to the farms. Please click on the image to see it enlarged and get a better idea of the textures.
