Watercolour painting completed on site in back streets of Le Bugue in the French Dordogne on a painting holiday in 1995 just before the Tourist Season featuring the roofline of tiled roofs chimney angled guttering and aged stoneworked walls with the early showing of the ubiquitous red geraniums. Unseen below at street level are sun-umbrella shaded cafe tables and cobbled roadway but not a soul in sight
