This contemporary impressionistic acrylic painting suggest rapid movement of a nude female form wearing nothing but very red lipstick. It was created after a life drawing exercise where the model adopted 30 second poses and from a page of rapid gesture sketches the most interesting was chosen and worked up into a painting over the next hour. My aim was to emphasize the feminine curves and spinning motion of the trunk as if in a dance. The lips were added in oil paint at the end to create a special spot of contrast and added visual interest
