This is a sketch completed in 10 minutes at life drawing directly into the digital record by drawing onto a tablet computer usiing the ArtRage program. I have been drawing from the nude model with my art group for 5 years but this day was the first experiment with the use of virtual media in a life situation. Very different from the feel of real pencil on paper and I am not sure if I will continue with this approach.I certainly will not abandon the real media completely but it is fascinating and has the advantage of very easy uploading to Imagekind. I will soon be uploading a lot more of my traditional art worked in real materials and you will be able to see the very different results.
