My old Neighbour the Cow
There is a great deal of detail in this Acrylic Painting. You must look at the enlarged version and even then you will not fully appreciate the extent of work in the original but you will if you buy the larger print. The original took weeks of work and depicts an ancient cow ( not a bull!) who lives over the barbed wire fence from me and is standing under a Jacaranda Tree which has been dropping its purple and violet flowers onto the sunburned grass. The fence includes a rusting old star picket and if you look closely a spider hides in its web near the top of the picket post. I was trying hard for the many colors and textures in the cows coat.

Very impressive in everything, starting from composition and color contrast. Bravo, David! Just curious, where can be seen the original? Who is this lucky guy, who bought it, I mean?.. Len Grossman, Screen Name: lengrossman.
